Holy butts! The Legend of Zelda 3DS

It’s not a remake for a Link to the Past — it’s a new game set in the SNES classic’s world, releasing this holiday season! It will feature new dungeons and an original storyline.

The new title looks to “”reinvigorate the flat 2D world of A Link to the Past with a sense of height and volume,” making it easier to differentiate levels and adding a new puzzle-solving mechanic. Link can also now become a drawing and move within walls, changing the game’s perspective and allowing you to see previously hidden connections to solve puzzles.

Soundgarden - King Animal Microreview

Today, I’m going to air out my music opinions to you, Tumblr. Also, Facebook and Twitter.

It’s been fifteen years since Soundgarden last had an album, and this week they’ve released King Animal, much to the delight of fans. The band is back together, and it feels like they have never left. Chris Cornell is still singing like one of rock’s top vocalists, Kim Thayil is still playing guitar, Ben Shepherd is still the bassist, and Matt Cameron is still the drummer. Such is the same with King Animal.

“Been Away Too Long”, lead single and lead track, is basically their statement to the music world about how they’ve been out of the scene for a while, and now they’re ready to return and make a name for themselves again. Then, you have songs like “Non-State Actor”, “By Crooked Steps” and “A Thousand Days Before”, which are great parts of the album that feel like a completely new direction for Soundgarden, yet you can tell that some of the old feel is there, too.

As for some personal favorites based off initial listen, “By Crooked Steps”, “Eyelid’s Mouth” and “Rowing” are up there with some of Soundgarden’s best. On Amazon, the album is four dollars for the MP3 version, so get it while it’s still cheap.

Congratulations for another year where I as a fan question why I’m still following you.

Congratulations for another year where I’m more excited about my fantasy football team.

Congratulations for another year where you look like the laughingstock of the NFL.

Congratulations for another year. Another, disappointing year.

You really deserve it, Washington.
